This is our life. We live a very difficult and tiring life. There is no food, no drink, and not even a safe place after losing their father who was killed in the war.

The people of Gaza are enduring genocide, according to Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Médecins Sans Frontières, and many other organizations.

They lost homes, professional jobs, access to healthcare and education, and their basic dignity. They have lost family members, their own parents, their own children. The UN has failed to take action to prevent the current situation, or do anything meaningful to stop it.

After months of aid convoys facing both thieves and airstrikes, there are widespread shortages of every basic necessity. In addition to suffering from disease, with few hospitals left, they are starving.

Now, with a ceasefire in place, the people return to the ruins of the cities, to bury their loved ones, perhaps to put their tents up in the rubble while they perform the needed repairs.

This project can connect those of us who wish to help with the families who long to feel the humanity of taking action to rebuild their homes, their families, their very lives.
